Alice Chauchat, born 1977 in Saint-Etienne (France), lives in Paris. She studied in the „Conservatoire National Supérieur de Lyon“ and at „P.A.R.T.S“, Brussels. Founding member of the collective B.D.C. with Tom Plischke, Martin Nachbar and Hendrik Laevens, they create together Events for Television, Affects and (Re)sort between 1999 and 2001. 2001 she presents her first solo Quotation marks me. Study follows then the duet choreographies, and in 2003, A Number of Classics in the Age of Performance, in collaboration with Vera Knolle. 2004 she makes J’aime together with Anne Juren, and CRYSTALLL, a collaboration with Alix Eynaudi. She also takes part in other people’s projects, such as projet,
initiated by Xavier Le Roy or avant-garde by Marten Spangberg.
